When you become a member of the Goals team, you are becoming a member of one of the finest operators within the whole leisure industry. Their commitment and the level of training that is delivered at Goals develops devoted team players who want to keep us in that top spot.

As soon as you join our team you’ll begin your induction, this is a structured programme which ensures you gain experience across all relevant areas of the business including working at one of our designated training centres. On-the-job training will then continue as you return to your own place of work and a personal development plan will deliver individual objectives to aim for.

Goals offers a range of specialist and statutory training courses. We encourage all our team players to attend as many courses as they can to help develop their role within the company but also in the long-term for their future.
A Day in the Life of an Assistant Manager
Two days are never the same in the life of a Goals Assistant Manager. This is no ordinary 9-5 job! You will be dealing with different things every day. Variety and responsibility are the name of the game. You will be responsible for the performance of your branch for a third of the time and you will be a central player in the day to day operation of your centre, therefore strict confidence and initiative is key.

Each of our centres have two Assistant Managers who work in tandem to support the General Manager who is in control of running the centre. With a commercially astute attitude, our Assistant Managers support the General Manager in producing sales and marketing plans to promote and maximise profits at their individual centres.

Our Assistant Managers ensure each team member is fully trained to deliver both sales and customer service and appreciates this is integral for the success of the centre. You will plan, develop, motivate, organise and control the activities and resources of your branch team to ensure the success of the centre.
Our Assistant Managers understand that engagement is a fundamental part of their role and is key to understanding customer needs and exceeding expectations.
